Working to give every child in Malawi a chance.

Organisation

The Children's Fund of Malawi (CFM) was founded in 1992 at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre by Hamid and Margriet Sacranie, paediatric specialist Dr. Ankie Borgstein and Professor Robin Broadhead.

A year later, CFM became a Registered Charitable Trust. Through a Board of Trustees the Children’s Fund seeks to broadly provide for the welfare of Malawian children through specific projects adopted and administered by the Trustees of the Fund.

All CFM committee and board members are volunteers and receive no re-numeration for their work.
